Location brazilTeacher of 3-year-olds by day, GIF artist by night. Lacey Micallef is a freelance designer whose tools are 8-bit graphics, animated GIFs, and bizarre pop culture juxtapositions. Hamburgers and pizza are often (delicious) sources of inspiration, as are collaborations with other GIF artists on Tumblr. What started as a hobby may very well beget a new art form, with creators like Lacey leading the way.
